You can customize your messages with smilies by clicking on the small icon:
Then, an emoticons list opens like this: Pick the one you want by clicking on it and it will automatically fit into the conversation.
Messaging preferences
To access the messaging preferences click on the menu icon and then on “preferences”.
Preferences open in another window.
You can choose to sort the buddy list by nickname or status, to play a sound each time you receive notification, to flash the browser’s title bar every time you receive notification, and to display a notification on your Windows desktop.
In “about” you will find various information such as copyright, credits and the current version of the application.
